“The only people who take issue with you having boundaries, are the ones who need your boundaries the most.”Baggage Reclaim with Natalie Lue
Now that the spring semester has ended and we’re gearing up for Summer 2020, how do we honor our deep and real needs for personal space, time, and rest while balancing the equally real needs of others during this continuing pandemic? How do we make sure that we don’t sacrifice ourselves at the altar of others actual or imagined expectations as we move further into our “new normal”?
This facilitated learning and idea sharing session will illustrate what boundaries are and why they are critical to our health and well-being right now in this unprecedented global moment. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and design their own COVID-19 boundary setting agreements within a mutually supportive space, along with others who wish to do the same. All UMBC community members are welcome to attend though the session will center the experiences of students.
Please join us Wednesday -May 20th at 1pm via Google Meet and feel free to bring your lunch or a snack during this virtual session.
