Description
Our collaborative series with the English Language Institute’s (ELI) creates an open meeting where any student can come for casual conversation and fun group activities. Snacks, games, and ice-breaker activities are always provided, after which the groups are left to freely converse in an informal atmosphere. Mundo Lingo encourages you to practice your multilingual skills and share your cultural identity with other UMBC community members!
This session will teach participants how to make some delicious hummus by making hummus from scratch in small groups while learning the history behind this awesome food. Come mingle with other Middle Eastern and North African students and practice your Arabic too! All undergrads, grads, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend!
