Description
Queerios: A discussion group from The Pride Center and the Gathering Space with i3b (Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion & Belonging) for students with intersectional queer and religious or spiritually-based identities!
Join Queerios for our opening cereal bar mixer! Stop by and get a bowl of cereal, chat with our student facilitators, and meet other students with overlapping queer and religious or spiritual identities. Come learn about the Queerios discussion group, starting on Wednesday, December 6th!
We will have a variety of cereals and types of milk available to accommodate all dietary preferences and needs.

Queerios is a discussion-based group open to all that focuses on the experience of being both queer and religious or spiritual. Each week will focus on a different topic! We will start with a student facilitator-led activity, and leave plenty of room for discussion, dialogue, and community building.
Queerios welcomes participation of all kinds and disclosure of any identities is never required to join us. This group is not focused on any particular queer identity or faith-based practice, and will feature topics that highlight a variety of identities and practices present in the UMBC student body.
We welcome allies and community members who want to learn how to better support our students.
