Mosaic Conversations: A Diversity Series (Culture Box)

What’s an object that represents you? Is it a family heirloom or related to an important life experience you’ve had?

Join the IDEALists for an evening of cultural storytelling, meaningful sharing, and laughs during the Culture Box facilitation on February 19, 2024 at 6pm in the Mosaic! (Commons 2B23)

Participants should bring 1-3  physical objects that they feel represent important elements of their life story, especially as it pertains to their social identity. These items will be shared with the group, so bring what you are comfortable sharing, but share courageously. Ultimately, through the experience, participants will not only share some of the joyous, difficult, and defining experiences that have made them who they are but also gain a deep understanding of the lives of their peers within the UMBC community, ultimately creating a stronger connection.
