New Women of Color Student Group at UMBC

Women of Color Student Group launching Fall 2013 at the WC!

This fall semester, the Women's Center is forming a group to support and empower women of color students. It is their hope that this new group will offer an intersectional space for education, advocacy, and engagement. In addition to promoting women of color visibility on campus, the group will work to advance student leadership development and coalition-building skills among women of color.

The first meeting is Weds, Sept. 18th from 5-6pm in the Women's Center! The Women's Center is located on the ground floor of the Commons building next to the Yum Shoppe.
