Welcome Week Service Project

Bringing in Fall Semester with some service and fun!

On September 1st, UMBC students are gathering to kickoff Fall semester with some service work!  We will be heading into Baltimore City to work with Parks & People Foundation and Project T.O.O.U.R.  We will get our hands dirty in the garden, work on the kids playground and help paint some of the buildings' structures. A great way to get involved in service, meet new friends and have some fun.

Click on the My UMBC Serves link to sign up and fill out a waiver at http://my.umbc.edu/groups/serve/events/12511. See you all there!

The Parks & People Foundation is dedicated to supporting a wide range of recreational and educational opportunities; creating and sustaining beautiful and lively parks; and promoting a healthy natural environment for Baltimore. In order to realize our vision of a healthy environment where people live, work, learn and play, we have formed a strategy targeting two major fields of endeavor:

1. Great Parks, Clean Streams & Green Communities
2. Motivating Youth Programs
