The Interfaith Center (IFC)

The Student Success and Development Center (Next to Student Conduct and Community Standards) | 410-455-3657

Opening shortly after The Mosaic in 2006, the IFC serves as a religious and spiritual-centered space. The IFC has two reservable spaces only during the academic year, but is open year-round.  This space is mainly used for students, staff, faculty, and local religious leaders from all religious and spiritual backgrounds to meet, worship, discuss, and celebrate their individual or collective faiths and belief systems. This space was created by UMBC community members who saw the need to honor religious and spiritual diversity by creating spaces for people to pray, worship, and build community regardless of their faith. Frequent guests include members of UMBC Hillel, the Muslim Student Association, the Pagan Student Association, Catholic Retrievers, and members of the Religious Council.
