POST PONED TO SUMMER
Date & Time
June 15, 2022, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Workshop Wednesdays w/ i3b are monthly opportunities for faculty, staff, graduate students and adult learners to engage around social justice topics that can support their personal growth and professional development. All sessions are interactive, and designed for skill-building and practice.
Session Focus: Exploring Accessibility at UMBC-This session will engage learning more about universal design and how we can ensure access across all initiatives and programs, this session will include a campus walk using the accessible routes on campus. Engaging in the campus walk, will give participants a sense of how community members with some mobility challenges move across campus. This session is a part of the Women’s Center and i3b’s semester-long focus on disability justice as a part of Critical Social Justice: Disability Justice+Access Matters.
Presented by Dr. LaMarcus Howard, Director of Disability Services, Eastern Michigan University
