Nominate a Retriever for Lavender & Black/Latinex Awards

And learn how graduating students can get a cord!

Our Nomination Forms for our 9th Annual Lavender Celebration(May 17) and our Black/Latine/x Graduation Celebration(May 18) are LIVE!

One of the key components of these celebrations is to award LGBTQIA+, Black, Latine/x, and ally community members at UMBC that have had a significant impact on our campus. Award categories will include students, staff, faculty, alumnx and departments across the campus. 

If you are a graduating senior or graduate student who is a part of the LGBTQIA+, Black, and/or Latine/x community, you may also fill out the Lavender and Black/Latine/x Social Media Campaign form by May 6 at noon to receive a graduation package and be recognized on our social media.

  1. LGBTQIA+ Advocate of the Year

  2. LGBTQIA+ Student Leader of the Year

  3. LGBTQIA+ Scholar of the Year 

  4. LGBTQIA+ Ally of the Year

  5. Lavender Legacy Award
