Register Today!

This event was reposted on behalf of Individualized Studies, original post here

UMBC undergraduate students: Sign up to participate in a fun and engaging art-making workshop that will help you harness the power you have to shape your world.

During the workshop, participants will reflect on significant experiences in their lives by using everyday objects to make art. You do not need to be an "artist" to participate -- in fact, this workshop will be particularly useful for you if you do not consider yourself an artist. We will explore how the practice of art-making as well as our stories can be sources of insight that can help us make important contributions in our communities. You can expect a lively and meaningful hour and a half spent creatively expressing yourself and making connections with other UMBC students.

The workshop will be facilitated by UMBC student Tess McRae as part of her Individualized Study (INDS) senior capstone project.
The event is this Thursday, April 7, from 5 - 6:30 p.m. in Commons 318.

Masks will be required.

Spots are limited. If you are interested in participating, please RSVP here by Tuesday, April 5 at 11:59 p.m.

Please email tmcrae2@umbc.edu with any questions about the workshop.
